I think about the same time I got “broadband” around Nov or Dec 2004, a 512 kbps DSL connection with a 5 GB per month data transfer limit, I started to find out online about the whole idea of Microsoft starting conversations with it’s customers, trying to become friendlier.

For those who don’t already know, like me new to the whole blogosphere concept, “Scobleizer” is Robert Scoble, Technical Evangelist at Microsoft, used to be called Microsoft’s “Chief Blogging Officer” hehe.

To catch up on what’s been happening, start by reading ActiveWin’s interview with Scoble, and you should subscribe to his blog to keep up. He used to blog at another place before. Microsoft’s going blog-crazy, as you might already have come across (or soon will if you start by reading Scoble’s blog) many employee blogs. For example, there’s a whole tense nail-biting RSS story unfolding too, with twists such as this.

One of my favourite pasttimes, now that I have humongous download bandwidth, is to watch videos off Channel 9. You can read the ReadMe.txt there and watch the Who We Are video. You’ll find out where the name “Channel 9″ comes from
